I am wondering if the USC ( LA ) OU, Miami, FSU,etc. would they rather not play LSU. We have not had much press. Sounds like VA tech maybe.
I don't think they are scared. Maybe unconfortable but not scared. Like Miami always plays FSU, UF and Tennessee. They are comfortable playing them knowing they typically beat them but they are good teams. It might be a little uncomfortable to play a new team.
Miami has established themselves as a perennial Top 5 team. Same for Michigan, FSU, Oklahoma, et.al. They don't need to prove they are worthy. They just have to win the games on their schedule. LSU is still trying to achieve that level of recognition. To do it we have to put some skins on the wall. And not rabbits and squirrels. We need to kill us a Grizzly Bear.
A coach is hired and fired on his win-loss record. There are a lot of coaches from a lot of schools who want no part of any team that is likely to have a 10-win year.
If I were FSU, Texas, Nebraska, Ohio State, Miami etc I would be a little gun shy of this group of tigers.
