Does anyone know why the 2006 Northern Ill game was cancelled next year?

and who we will play instead? we should call fresno states bluff and have them come to town.

 

I dont think FSU would bluff at all. If we and they had an open date that was good for us, I would be all for it and I am sure Pat Hill's team would be too

You do realize that even with one loss, if it were not for those two weak OOC teams, we would be a most likely be a solid three. I don't know the numbers. Let someone who eats and sleeps BCS comment.:lsup:

 

Penn State has an open date at the same time as LSU next year.

 

Penn St. is not travelling down to BR next year(that would leave them with only 6 home games) and Skip has already said that we will have 8 home games next year. Hear is a more likely scenario. La Tech pulled out of their game at PSU with an option clause in their contract. La Tech now has an open date that matches LSU's open date. You do the math(Babyblue Leghumpers to play in TS next year). Just a hunch.

 

Then we can go to PSU since we already have 7 home games.

 

Skip wants to have an extra home game next year to make up for the one we lost this year.

 

Then we can have a road slate of Tenn, Florida, Auburn, Arkansas and PSU. I bet you'll be the first person to b!tch when we are 7-5 or 8-4.

 

Man, with U-LOL, La Tech, and Tulane we really would be on the State fair tour except for the fact that they are all in Baton Rouge.
