His success may also mean his one and only season at LSU. That would be unfortunate as LSU has certainly forged an identity on offense with him and what he could do next year is quite intriguing. He's a Jalen Hurts look-alike and with Hurts' success in the NFL, somebody will be willing to draft him, and maybe quite high (end of the first round, early to mid 2nd round). His stock is certainly rising fast. What say you? Oh and hi, I'm back.
I think he comes back, or at least he should. He isn't ready for the defensive schemes he will see in the NFL
depends if he finishes well enough to get a decently high draft projection. i think he will do well, leave and be drafted. i dont think another year will raise his draft stock. howard starts next year and is awesome.
I would be fine with this, but I think Daniels benefits greatly by another year. He could work his way into the first round, if he puts together an entire season like the last couple games. If he’s able to account for 5-6 TDs a game over the last 4 games, well then, I guess all bets are off. He probably doesn’t do that though.
another thought…. hiw much does his nil value increase due to improved play? may encourage him to come back and work his way into a 1st rd pick…
My eyes tell me he needs another year, but you never know what he's hearing from the draft advisors. And welcome back, @islstl . I like the comparison to Hurts.
