Does Will Blackwell give up #94 this season?

    It seems to be appropriate to do so and have the team wear #94 stickers or MH stickers/patches for some period of time this season.

    I don't think he will give up #94, but there may be some kind of helmet patch. Probably MH or #94.

    That's what I'd think too...........and tell Blackwell to wear it proudly, may be some "Extra incentive" for him to elevate his play and let Marquisse play through him........may be a crazy thought too, dunno.

    I don't think so. Retiring numbers for a season or other such meaningful action is reserved. Maybe stickers. Marquis, although an LSU legend, was not a heisman trophy winner, all-time NCAA stat leader, or head coach. He didn't die during his LSU career, die in war, or die committing a heroic act.

    As in another thread, I don't mean to be insensitive at an emotional time, we just need to keep this in perspective. We have over 100 years of athletic history, we're going to lose legends once in a while :bncry:
