1. I finally got around to reading the advocate's football preview and was shocked to see William Weather's rankings. Did anyone see where he had LSU ranked? Did anyone see where he had AU ranked? Good God those must have been some great drugs he was on.
  2. Care to fill us in?
  3. I'm not exactly sure but I think I heard he ranked LSU somewhere around 13th. :dis:
  4. Post a link BigJ, I'd like to see his top 20 :)
  5. Read his bio below. He went to USL/ULL. That explains it for me.

William Weathers has been a member of The Advocate sports staff for more than three years, coming to Baton Rouge after a two-year stay as Managing Editor of the Abbeville Meridional.

Weathers, 37, covers both high school and college beats for the Advocate. His prep beat consists of all high school sports with an emphasis on high school football recruiting during the fall. Weathers, who is also part of LSU's extensive football coverage, covers LSU's nationally-ranked women's basketball and softball programs.

Weathers' newspaper career spans 15 years with stops at the Abbeville Meridional, Shreveport Journal and Lafayette Advertiser.

Born in Pensacola, Fla., Weathers was reared in Lafayette and attended both Northside High School and the University of Southwestern Louisiana (now University of Louisiana at Lafayette).
  6. I actually called him out on being a nincumpoop a long, LONG time ago after one of his articles during my tumultuous tenure on the Lair...He e-mailed me back as if someone had p!$$ed in his Cornflakes...A total baby, and - once again - a total ignoramus...
  7. What the hell is a Meridional?
  8. I was thinking the exact same thing. What or WHERE the hell is it????
  9. He's actually the best Sports writer the Advocate has... Although I don't agree with his prediction I would rather read his column over Scott Rab... anyday...

He's definitely the best recruiting writer hands down... just because you don't agree with his prediction for the season, doesn't mean he's a bad writer. He's just the only one that has balls enough to say what he thinks...
  10. say what he thinks by picking LSU last? umm ok, Willie, nice moniker.
