You hit the Nail on the head. If Saban wonders why no one believes what he says, take a look at his track record. Remember his speech to us "My family is happy here, I am happy here, not interested in another job blah blah blah"

I like Saban but he needs to understand his reputation becomes him...

I don't think Saban is going to Bama. We all know that Saban is a media whore. He loves having his name in the media. Then tries to make the media feel like idiots because of something he himself and sexton created.

Yeah I'm sure Sexton is behind the frenzy on all the LSU boards. I wonder how many alias names he uses. Fans seem more concerned about the Bama coach then LSU's play in the Sugar Bowl. If he doesn't show up at LSU one day, I would welcome him back at another SEC school. I welcome a good challenge. I would rather Saban make an SEC non contender into a contender in the SEC than move to the Big Ten and lift their reputation.

I have to agree with SabanFan here. When he left us, he never denied anything specific. He was always vague and even said more than once that he would "always be willing to listen. He owed his family at least that". He may have listened, hell who among us has at least listened to other job offers through the years even if we are happy where we are? The difference in this situation, is that he specifically denied the BAMA job. He didn't say he wasn't leaving Miami, he didn't say he's not taking another job. He said he's not taking the BAMA job. So if he leaves for another job, I will hold no grudge against the man. Now if he goes to BAMA after stressing that he wouldn't, I'd be upset, but not much more than that, only because I don't like being lied to.
