.......for those who support a D-1 college football playoff system. At this point it is very possible that the champions of the SEC, Pac10, Big10, ACC, and Big12 will all be un-defeated at the end of the season. Remaining schedules: USC Oct 30 at Washington State Nov 6 at Oregon State Nov 13 vs Arizona Nov 27 vs Notre Dame Dec 4 at UCLA Oklahoma Oct 30 at Oklahoma State Nov 6 at Texas A&M Nov 13 vs Nebraska Nov 20 at Baylor Big 12 Championship Game Miami Oct 30 at North Carolina Nov 6 vs Clemson Nov 13 at Virginia Nov 20 vs Wake Forest Dec 4 vs Virginia Tech Dat Redneck Team Oct 30 at Mississippi Nov 13 vs Georgia Nov 20 at Alabama SEC Championship Game Wisconsin Nov 6 vs Minnesota Nov 13 at Michigan State Nov 20 at Iowa Certainly there are possible losses on some of these schedules.. Such as USC vs Notre Dame or the barners vs Georgia... but all 5 teams should be favored and expected to win all of their remaining games. I would absolutely LOVE to see this happen. Complete chaos for a system that simply can't handle such a scenario. Throw in a couple of potential undefeated Non-BCS teams and it's even better: Utah Oct 30 at San Diego State Nov 6 vs Colorado State Nov 13 at Wyoming Nov 20 vs BYU Boise State Oct 29 vs Hawaii Nov 13 at San Jose State Nov 20 vs Louisiana Tech Nov 27 at Nevada
I'm torn between wanting to see USC lose and wanting to see all the teams go unbeaten... Screw it... just have USC lose in the title game and I'll be happy. Bring down the BCS!! Long live playoff!!
I too Am for a playoff system but i want USuck to lose and let all the other teams win out. I hope the system goes into complete Khaos, I'd love nothing better than some kind of playoff system and I think you have the groundwork for it already with the conference championship games being the first step. Let all the conferences have one and go from there. Red, I would agree with you about Georgia although I wonder which Georgia team will show up.
It's almost impossible to think only 2 BCS conference teams will be left undefeated at the end of the year. I would also love to see USC lose at some point before the end of the season, but I think college football is better served to have even more controversy than last year over the BCS. It will certainly speed up a playoff system, which is inevitable. It will just come sooner than later. Let USC, OU, Auburn and Miami all go undefeated (Wisconsin going undefeated pretty much irrelevant since they started so far back). At this point it appears that Auburn and Miami will be left out in the cold. OU would be the best choice to be left out in the cold, but Miami is a good 2nd choice, as far as the sh!t hitting the fan. If it's only Auburn left out with either Miami or OU losing before season's end, then the BCS would ignore the problem and say the BCS formula worked.
I had been wanting USC to lose and Auburn to lose... This accomplishes nothing though... Let USC play <insert team name here> in the Orange Bowl. Then let as many as three other BCS conference champions go un-defeated.... Hopefully the Boise St. and Utah can go un-defeated and make it even more chaotic. I can't wait to see how it all turns out!
Auburn gets revenge on USC in the Orange Bowl!! I wish! Seriously, there's just too much football left. I'm just hoping that Auburn can finish strong. We could easily lose to UGA. You just don't really know with UGA as this point though. Will Auburn play the "LSU" UGA or will Auburn get the "Ark" UGA. Who knows? And as unlikely as it sounds, we could lose in Tuscaloosa too. UAT has a good defense. I haven't really kept up with Ole Miss this season...
If I was an Auburn fan, I'd be more concerned with Bama than UGA. UGA shot their whole wad against LSU. That's the only game they figured they had on the schedule.
The CFN Midseason Voodoo is down it's all irrelevant ... USC and one undefeated team ... Miami (Utah will be #3 or #4) will meet in the Orange Bowl ... USC will lose the NC to this other team ... CFN midseason Voodoo has spoken ... they are 4/4 in this decade
