Sure he left LSU. How did he leave us? If we had ponied up like the Gumpsters did he would still be here. e have a good coach. Let's back him and be glad Nick stayed as long as he did.:helmet:

So you wanted LSU to be the school to raise minimum wage to 4m per year? Alabama has screwed the rest of the SEC and they will be circled on every teams schedule next year. The anti-Saban "stuff" is fair IMO. It's beats the hell out of the anti-Miles "stuff".

If you don't want to read the anti bama coach stuff, see tidefans.com:thumb:
He left LSU as the highest paid coach in the nation.

The fans are going to vent a bit for a few days, then it will drop off. No sweat. LSU is in better shape than Bama right now and we should enjoy it. None of Bama's other coaches were able to solve the problems there, Nick may not either.

I'll say it's not a very good first post to come onto the forum and start dictating what people can talk about. The forum is here as a place for people to vent their frustrations. You can make the personal choice not to read the anti-Saban threads, but it's the poster's right to post them.

CNS has total control he will solve many problems. When the likes of DuBose, fRan, Shula could win 10 games what makes you think that CNS would not do exponentially better. He is about 3 steps above any of those.

That's laughable at best. Nobody has had total control there since the early 80's. In fact, that same somebody still has total control there. Don't kid yourself.

Didn't Fran leave Bama and fans went insane! They burned bobbleheads and shirts. Amazing how things change, when ya'll receive the coach. Saban has complete control? Wow, did Paul bear bryant jr die or something? He will never have complete control at Bama. I lived in Birmingham and have a few bama friends, who are happy with the hire but hope the Alumni can stay out of his way. I seriously doubt it!

And what did those 10-win seasons buy those coaches? Two got fired and the other found greener pastures. Bama isn't trying to buy 10-win seasons with Nick . . . they are trying to buy championships. The West Division is tough, nowadays. LSU just had a 11-win season and didn't win the division or the league championship. Bama has serious competition in LSU, Auburn and Arkansas, not to mention Tennessee, Florida and Georgia.

Nick may work out just fine at Bama, amigo. But it ain't automatic.

Agreed. Bama got themselves a good coach and now it's time to move on. I'm a little amazed at the vitriol from LSU fans, but a large part of it stems from the way Saban departed Baton Rouge. In the long run, this works in LSU's favor. The TigerNation has united in support of Miles and great things are on the horizon.
