ED drop was a good thing.

Some of you will disagree, but, in retrospect:

ED catches the TD, and Tuby knows it's 4 down situation, do or die in OT. He would have probably tried the sweep play to Irons a second time. Would have certainly gone for it on 4th down. May have tied it up and gone into a second OT.

Also, by going into the wind, he was saying that our kicker is better into the wind than the barners (not to mention the student section factor).

 

I strongly disagree. The Early Doucet Drop (along with the Bowe drop) costed me some much needed points in TFL.

 

In retrospect, it worked out - that does not mean it was a good thing.

 

Nah.... It wouldn't have mattered. Even if Irons scores, Shanky woulda missed the point after.
