The rub here is that ESPN is not a news organization, it is an entertainment channel that sells sports as a commodity. They have made no commitments of proper journalism and I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for one. They make money by drawing people in by stirring the proverbial pot, riling people up and then ignoring the results.

It would be interesting to see a list of all the schools who oversigned and by how many players now that the LOIs are in. I'm guessing LSU wouldn't stand out in the crowd.
