The rub here is that ESPN is not a news organization, it is an entertainment channel that sells sports as a commodity. They have made no commitments of proper journalism and I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for one. They make money by drawing people in by stirring the proverbial pot, riling people up and then ignoring the results.
:geaux: Actually, Rivals is showing them with 28. :dis: Think there MIGHT be a little double standard in that? :LSU231:
Maybe THEohioSTATE should consider oversigning: Ohio State recruit Chris Carter arrested for sexual imposition - NCAA Football - SI.com
It would be interesting to see a list of all the schools who oversigned and by how many players now that the LOIs are in. I'm guessing LSU wouldn't stand out in the crowd.
not yet. since they're appealing, the reductions don't kick in until after the appeals process is complete.
Don't count on ESPN to do something like a solid follow up story with the most recent evidence of facts. That would resemble true journalism.
Arkansas signs 30, yet ESPN says jackschitt about it. Wonder how many other schools "oversigned" yet they don't "cover" it. Hmmm...
