1. Here is an article that I stumbled across that I thought was interesting...

    2. LSU will play USC in the BCS championship game
Tigers coach Les Miles will get his wish with a date against the Trojans in the Jan. 7 BCS National Championship Game in the Louisiana Superdome. After USC easily defeats the Tigers in front of LSU's home crowd, Miles will leave to become head coach at Michigan, replacing Lloyd Carr, who will retire after winning the Rose Bowl (and, of course, losing to Ohio State).

This prediction makes me mad. What makes him think that Les Miles will leave after this year? He has it made at LSU so there is no reason for him to leave....:angryfire :po:

  2. Fixed it for ya.:thumb:
  3. Oh well that means nothing to me....about half the guys on college football news see it differently with us beating usc.
  4. I agree with you. It means nothing to me either cause how many of them saw Florida running away with it in the NC game last year?
  5. And UF wasn't even that good.
  6. Hey, they had us beating Bama!

But this guy makes ridiculous statements so if they ever happen he can be THAT guy...for 5 minutes while people wikipedia who in the __ he is and then they forget all about it.
  7. Well, at least he got this part correct:

LSU will play USC in the BCS championship game
  8. USC had better hope that LSU has a couple of upsets along the way. They will not see a defense close to LSU's.

Just like I predicted against the Sooners, LSU would take them tout de suite

  9. Easily? That makes me laugh. If it had been just beat, it would've been alright. But easily? Now I wish we would play USC during the season. I can imagine both Dorsey and Jackson destroying that O-line.
For every USC fan out there, Dorsey and Jackson BOTH need to be double teamed.:yelwink2: Seriously, IMO, if Jackson would not enter next year's draft, he'll return as the top defensive player in the nation (that would make them 2 in a row for LSU, 3 if you agree that Laron Landry WAS the best defensive player last year)

  10. It's the same story w/ these damn AP writers. 99% of them do not appreciate what a great defense does for a team. All they care about is a high octane offense (especially if that team play in a no defense league, no need to mention that team name). AP writers only see high scores as a high level team. i.e. the Michigan/OSU game last year with all the TDs...instead of seeing two teams with no defenses, they ALL wrote how great these two teams are and how that was the Championship game...blah, blah, blah, blah and look what happened in the Bowls.:hihi:
