Gameday was supposed to be live from Notre Dame this weekend, but have called an audible fue the the Irish's loss at BYU this weekend (HA HA HA). Gameday will now be live from Georgia-South Carolina. Correct me if I am wrong, but Georgia was 0-2 last year at games ESPN did gameday at (LSU and Florida). Maybe we will see the great Bulldogs fall flat on their face in week 2. (yes, I am superstitious). I believe the game is in SC.
With exception to Auburn I hope everyone LSU plays wins until they play LSU. I really would love to see a top 5 matchup with LSU vs UGA.
I agree Deaf. I want that game to be against two undefeated top 5 teams. I hope UGA beats SC this weekend.
Notre Dame is HORRIBLE! I expect the heel hounds will be out in full force if things dont turn around quickly there. Willingham is in deep do-do!
I hope this won't affect the possibility of gameday broadcasting from Athens for our October battle with the bulldogs. How did they give up 28 points to Georgia Southern, and not get bashed as much as we are for having given up 21 points to an outstanding OSU offense??? DOESNT MAKE SENSE....
Are you serious? lol I didn't see anyone bashing us for giving up 21 points. The bashing was due to playing like crap and almost losing to an unranked PAC 10 team at home! UGA was up 40-14 with 6 minutes to play ... their backups gave up 2 late TDs.
you forget, their defense gave up 300 yard RUSHING to this D1AA team. First or second string, how are they going to handle the REAL rushing teams of the SEC? The Dawgs are suspect...............
yes, im serious buddy perhaps bash wasnt the correct word. anyways. i did read media suggesting our defense will struggle based on their perception of a game they didnt watch. they looked at the score, and concluded that our defense isnt as mighty as last year and could mean trouble. we gave up 2 touchdowns in regulation to an outstanding offense. we dropped more than a couple interceptions, which could have been run back and had a couple scoring chances called back. saturdays game could have easily been more like 35-10 or so. but thats beside the point. georgia gives up 28 points in regulation (or 14, if you want to argue about their backups). TO GEORGIA SOUTHERN. The same media source says georgia gave up 28 points, but needs not to worry, because it will surely all come together for the next game. Im not whining, degrading UGA, or complaining about the media. just thought it was a curious way to analyze the situations of the two defenses. so there ya go buddy. whatcha think about the possibility of ESPN also going to athens for our game?
Well, based on one game, it ought to be one helluva battle between UGA and LSU ... one team can't stop the run and the other team can't run the ball!
Well, Trev Alberts did criticize UGA's defense, and OU's defense too! But he doesn't count! Gameday will be in Athens if both teams are undefeated ... should one of us stumble, then they might be looking for another site.
