I know these things don't amount to a hill of beans but what is up with them slapping us with a pre-season #13? Are you freaking serious? Man they really do hate!!
True, never looked at it that way. I've heard of some having us in the 2 or 3 slot for next year but ahh what the hell, lets just play football and OH Nov 10th can't come fast enough. What I wouldn't give for a pair of tickets to that game.
If you're talking about the Bama game, I believe it's Nov. 3rd, and I'm singing at my wife's friends wedding for a pair of them. Her fiance' is a Bammer, and I told them I didn't want them to pay me to sing, but I would take a pair of tics to next years game in TTown. He said he would arrange that. His dad is some big shot in BHam, and he's got connections. Whatever it takes!
Need backup? I'm fair with spoons and my wife is hell on the washboard. Couple of more tickets and we’ll be there. I’ll even bring silver spoons (nice tone) and buy my wife one of those fancy vest washboards.
According to what Dandy Don has posted it's the 10th. I know dates get moved around from here to there and open dates get moved so that may in fact be the case. I'd still love to get my hands on pair of tickets none the less. Perhaps you could use some one to beat on the bottom of an empty bucket or perhaps that blowing across the jug thing that that one dude used to do on the andy griffith show. We just may assemble a pretty good band here?
