Quoted the New York Times saying Paterno gone in the next few weeks. That Penn State is working out an exit strategy. Maybe that means trying to get little nicky on the phone.

I have been planning to create a post over this whole story, being as I feel very close to it up here in Pennsylvania. When I can get my feelings about it in order, I will do so. For now I will say, he needs to go now. I was hoping he would retire today. They all need to go.
I've never been a Paterno fan, but have mixed feelings on this. I hate to see such a storied career end like this, but sweeping something like this under the rug he deserves to be run out of town.
if he is senile like so many alleged, how much do you think he knew about it? i havent followed this story minus a headline.
I really hadn't paid much attention. Must be HUGE news up there by now. At any rate, I understand about the happy feet of little nicky, but why do people specifically think he may head up to PSU? Oh, and I am hearing rumblings of Nutt to Tulane. :lol:
His grad assistant now coaching coordinator reported directly to Paterno and told him he saw Sandusky having sex with a teenager in the Penn State shower. Sandusky was then banned from bringing kids on campus. Sounds like Joe knew it all. He also testified before a grand jury supposedly in '02.
