Everyone thinks they know everything....

Like the guy in the student section who says Russell *bleeping* sucks because he didn't see Skyler Green "wide open" 40 yards down the field on the left sideline while Russell is being forced to scramble and is 1 step from the right sideline.

You can't make that throw. Ever.

You need to shut up.

Or how about the one who complains that we ran a running play when the play went for 15 yards and a first down.

And don't even get me started on the hundreds booing Miles for not going for it on 4th and 5 with a 14-10 lead on our own 35 late in the 4th quarter.......

 

I don't recall that one. Not saying it didn't happen, but if it did, that's just assinine and uninformed. <sarcasm> Big surprise that some of our fans fall into THOSE categories </sarscasm off>

You are right about one thing though, these idiots all think they know everything. I correct them all the time. Stupid girl behind me last game, she kept screaming that "Stop being Aaron Brooks!!! to Jamarcus Russel, but THEN, she'd get pissed when we wouldn't throw the ball every **** down.

 

There were at least 40-50 people around me booing during that part. I just assumed they weren't the only ones, but maybe they were.

 

It was fourth and 5 inches though, not 5 yards...


But it really does no good to rant on here about it...

of the 20,000 in the student section, maybe 50 or so read this site, so you are speaking to a HUGE minority... and of that minority, we are the good ones who are educated about the sport

 

Not to say I disagree with the posts here but there is one problem.

Aren't a lot of these people drunk?
I saw a guy get in a fight and kicked out of a game here in Denver for instance because he was too drunk.

 

hehehe... When's the last time you made it down here for a game!? When LSU won this game, a bunch of idiots in the student section (I mean a WHOLE bunch) starting throwing their drinks up into the air. The entire student section REAKED of Bourbon. I mean, you might expect to smell a hint of it here or there, but every cup that came down, you'd never know there was coke in it - it smelled like straight Bourbon.

 

Would you expect anything less? You know that 20,000 drunk college students are going to be as obnoxious as possible. I just try to drown out all the idiot comments around me.

 

Thats the truth too. I smelled like bourbon the rest of the night. There really didn't seem to be many idiots around me, but I was in the lowest section and I don't really care what most people say about the game because I know their idiots.
