    Mark my words, quote me or whatever. Matt Flynn will be a top 5 QB in college football this coming year. Everything is in place, he's a senior, he's experienced, new OC, great athletes around him, sound defense, sounds like another NC run. I'm stoked! Geaux Tigers!!!

    And Vandy's gonna beat Bama in Nashville!!!

    It's a Vince Young, Joe Montana kinda thing. I believe the guy has heart and game and is a good decision maker/manager. Throw the stats out, he's athletic enough to use the tools around him to score points and not make mistakes. He proved this in the against Miami in a big game. And the guy can run!

    MF is going to be a great QB no doubt. But CLM has shown in both bowl appearances that given time he will have a game plan to beat you. MF greatly benefited from this in the Peach bowl. Not trying to take anything away from his performance, just trying to say that he may cream MSU 60-0 and struggle againts the pokies. He just isn't proven yet.

    Based on what, exactly? Right now, he's not even an SEC top-5 quarterback.

    My feelings are stated pretty clearly in earlier posts. I can not give you any stats to back up the kind of year MF will have. There have been plenty of QB's who have stats and can't lead a team to a Championship. You cannot easily measure the experience MF is carrying. Just look at what LSU has done since he has been at LSU. You take the new energy the new OC brings in and CLM now in his 3rd year. I say a big year from Matt and the entire team. It's a mature team on a mission.

    And as far as MF not being an SEC top 5 QB. I promise you your top 5 will not the be top 5 at the end of the season. That's college football, a lot can happen in a season with young athletes.

    If you believe coach speak you can base it on Coach Crowton's opinion. He said he expects Flynn to be drafted and have a career in the NFL.
