UT may throw 50+ passes against LSU and only run to the right side. Very lmited by injuries. Their C is out and his replacement is coming off of summer injury for the first time. The RG is out, moved LT (Sears) to RG and promoted LT (blindside) with no game experience. This makes the Oline very lopsided with talent and experience. Against the LSU DL I expect most of the runs called behind the right side of the line. I expect short drops and lots of 8-10 yard slants.

I expect a dozen doughnuts to fall out of Phal Phil's pockets when he jumps for joy celebrating you guys scoring the one and only touchdown against our D.

If either of UT's qb's throws the ball 50 times, it will be the best gift fulmer could possible give LSU... Ainge and Clausen are overrated Eli Manning-style...

They are as overrated as Eli...

All we would need is for them to show Danny Ainge in the stands all game, like they did with Archie for Eli.

Before some hero comes and corrects me, yes, I do know that Danny Ainge isn't his father

I don't know about Fulmer's plan or Tennessee tendencies, but I could see in the Florida game that Tennessee has a bunch of big, fast, strong players and some depth, too.

This is going to be a physical game I think. LSU is also big, strong, fast, and deep.

After watching the ASU game, any coach would be a fool not to throw the ball against our defense.

Not sure about 50 passes, but I'd be shocked if they don't throw it more than they normally do. And if they have any success, that'll make it easier to run the ball.

I'm counting on our pass defense to be much improved, along with less than average QB performance from UT.

I doubt we see UT thorw the ball near that many times unless LSU jumps out to a big early lead. Were these linemen out for the Florida game? I ask because it seems they ran to the left very successfully vs the Gaytors before thier OC abanded the run for some reason.

By the way, I love how the hatred for the Manning's colors the opinions of how overrated Eli was, I just looked at the SEC Record book and his name is plastered all over it even tough he played for a program that is ridiculed constantly for it's ineptness and lead them to it's best season ever and was good enough to impress the heirachy of several NFL teams and was a number one draft pick. And people will want to come back with a statement saying how bad he was vs LSU in 2003, even though in the next breath they will tout that LSU defense as one of the best ever. It's really amusing to me.

I expect our D-Line to really disrupt UT's passing 'game.' I think they will bring a lot more pressure on the QB.

I can't see Fulmer putting UT's fate on the arms of Ainge and Ricky Clausen...can't see it happening. Especially when they've got a back like Gerald Riggs, Jr. toting the mail. UT will try to grind it out and physically beat LSU, especially on the ends against Oliver and Pittman. They'll throw high percentage passes to their TE's because we had trouble covering ASU's TE's. Also screen passes to backs and WR's because they've seen the success ASU had with the screen pass.
