1. By hanging 80 on Tulsa. Also, expect UF to do the same to Ole Miss.
LSU has to dominate tomorrow. Anything close will hurt, even though they are a ranked team.
  2. I agree. Stoops will run the score up and keep the starters in there into the 4th. UF, maybe not. UF and LSU fates will be decided on October 6th and whoever wins that OU doesn't have chance of passing the winner of that game, unless the winner of the UF/LSU game drops one.

I'm kind of hoping UT drops a game or starts to slide down the polls so that on Oct 6 OU won't have a chance of passing LSU/UF. I say this because UT doesn't look very good and I don't think the game will be close....OU easily wins.
  3. I don't think many voters would be impressed with large margins over the likes of Tulsa or old piss.
  4. Agreed, but still, that's Stoops' MO. He's like the Spurrier of old in that he likes to rub it in.
  5. LSU just needs to win. The opportunity to bolster a top 2 position will be there with the Florida game in a couple of weels.
  6. I still get the feeling LSU really needs to play a very strong game tomorrow to continue the respect at the level they been getting since Va. Tech.
    :)
  7. Just win baby. Everything else will take care of itself. :thumb:
  8. We just need to win and we will not fall below number two.
  9. Win and it doesn't have to be all that impressive (as far as high score). If our defense (er, I mean Glen Dorsey), continues to shut out people and keep opponents from scoring as much as they have, they will be kept in place @ #2 untill the win over Florida keeps us there (or better if someone slips). They can say what they want about Ms. State and Mid. Tennessee... if the defensive stats LSU has after 3 games were so easy to get, all the top teams would have them, and it wouldn't get noticed. They're all terrified of this team, I promise... :hihi:
