1. Apparently, the FailCons are pissed that we were throwing the ball late in the game just to get the record. This is about the lamest, most whiny-a$$ team I've ever heard of. Here's a thought - if you don't want him to get the record, then PLAY DEFENSE and stop him. This isn't college, where you have amateurs on the field. This is the pros! There's no 'running up the score' in the NFL. Falcons players say the 'won't forget' if they meet again in January. Good, bring it on.

NFL.com news: Falcons 'won't forget' Brees airing it out late to break record
  2. I wondered how they would take it, this may be an interesting story line, especially if Rodgers is benched next week when the Lions play the Packers. Detroit could get the 5 seed with a win, and Atlanta would be coming right back to the dome.
  3. Yep, saw this earlier today and thought it was amusing. Because if the roles were somehow reversed, and in Game 15, Matty "Ice" was about 30 yards from breaking the all time single-season passing record, I'm sure the Falcons would just hand it off until time ran out. :dis:
  4. The Falcon were actually in the Dome yesterday... during the game?
  5. 'unnamed player' = too scared to reveal himself because he knows he's a coward for saying stuff like that. Everybody in the stadium knew they were gonna throw at the end and try for the record. It was set up perfectly for it and if the Falcons didn't want to be on that side of history, they had every opportunity to stop it. The real reason they are mad is because they got exposed by us.
  6. The Falcons hate us. We hate the Falcons. Falcons fans hate us. We hate the Falcons fans.

Why should the Saints try to please them ? Are we their Lovers or something?
  7. The thing is when Brees broke the record, the Saints had just taken over at the Falcons 33 when they turned it over on downs. I think there was 5 minutes or so left in the game. Sure, the Saints could have just handed off and run out the clock; however, it wasn't like Brees was slinging it all over the place from deep in Saints territory.

This is the NFL, and the it's up to the defense to stop 'em. In any case, didn't Payton say that normally he'd just hand off in that situation. Why not let Brees break the recored on MNF?

Falcons are a bunch of whining crybabies...

    Saintslogo
  8. If the shoe were on the other foot they'd do the exact same damn thing (put the score out of reach and continue to throw the ball well into the fourth quarter). Bunch of whiney ass little beeyatches.

  9. Exactly.

Alot of Atlanta Falcon fans are also Georgia Bulldawg fans.

The butt-pain must be unbearable. :D
  10. Thought they liked it?
