I am curious to know how LSU fans would handle a situation where LSU is ranked #1 going into a college football post season in which there is a 16 team (or more) playoff.

If every round of the playoffs was played at a current Bowl site and LSU was the not only the favorite in each of its games but won each of them.... Would you, as a fan, be able to attend a minimum of four games (more for a 16+ team playoff) on the road over the course of a month or so?

As a student, no...because these games would be outrageously priced, not too mention some of game locations would be a little too far of a drive especially if I am going to have to travel 4 consecutive weeks. The bowl system is fine, its the BCS that needs to be fixed or if anything just make it to where there is a plus one game, but please no playoff.

No I could attend two maximum.

Bowls + 1 would satisfy me. Very very rarely do I think more than 4 teams deserve to have a chance at a title. And if we couldn't make it to the top 4, even in a flawed polling system, we don't deserve a chance.

The fact that the playoff would be during the holiday season would be the biggest hassle for me. I have a very flexible work schedule and could likely manage it but still I would have to pull a lot of strings.

If fans can't be there to support their team then a lot of the luster is taken off of it.

However, I would still like to see some type of system that truly determines the champion on the field.

One game maybe two. Travel expenses and times with hit harder than ticket prices.

Work shift work so it would depend how the games fell.

I think many fans would not be able to attend all 4 playoff games. I suspect some, like me, would hope LSU could win the first two, then travel for the semifinal and final games.

Also, this could reduce the number of fans who travel to away games during the regular season. They may opt to save some money for the playoff games.
