1. www.fanspoll.com

Basically, there will be a "pick 'em" contest each week where you'll choose the winners of the week's games. At the end of the season, the person from each school who did the best in the weekly pick 'em contests for the season will represent their school in the final voting for the 2005 National Champion, giving each of the 119 schools one vote apiece.

I figured some of you on this site would like to participate it the "pick'em" and try to get a vote.
  2. Although it started out as a homer site to crown Auburn champs, I think it holds potential for the far off future.
  3. Wait is that the same site that the kid created and went on to crown AU champs?
  4. i believe it was started by the AU kid, but has escalated to an actual serious site.
  5. Last year, it was that People's National Champion web poll thing. Some people liked the kid's idea and wanted to help with the execution of it...make it more legit and representative. So they were able to put things in place to insure no one school could dominate the voting process and various corporate sponsors from Chevrolet to U.S. Airways have signed on.

Oh, and just by signing up for the pick 'ems each week, you are entered into a drawing for a 2006 Chevy Tahoe.

BTW, I have no stake in the site itself. But I do think it will be more fun with everyone involved this year.
  6. Uh, no thanks.

  7. Yep, the very same one a lot of people made fun of. it has grown into an intertesting deal with major sponsors. Who better to determine a MNC than fans fron all the schools. There will be an LSU rep......it could be you (except for Marine Tiger :hihi: )
  8. Lame
  9. Well, I don't think the kid thought it would get as far as it did last year. But you can't complain about the process he's trying to set up this year to include every Division 1A team and conference and only giving one vote per school (and that based on their abilities in picking the winners each week throughout the season).

I just wish I'd thought of this the way it is now before he did.
