    The ESPN Power 16:
    http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/powerranking?season=2003&week=11

    1 Oklahoma (21) 9-0
    2 USC 8-1
    3 LSU 8-1
    4 Florida State 8-1
    5 Virginia Tech 7-1
    6 Miami 7-1
    7 Ohio State 8-1
    8 Michigan 8-2
    9 Georgia 7-2
    10 Texas 7-2
    11 Washington State 7-2
    12 Iowa 7-2
    13 TCU 8-0
    14 Florida 6-3
    15 Purdue 7-2
    16 Michigan State 7-2

Now that actually makes a little sense.

This one does look a little more realistic. They must not let Trev vote.

What kills me is that a few weeks ago everyone was raving about Auburn and saying they were playing the best football in the country. Then LSU waxes the field with them, and we get ZERO credit for it.

Now everyone has just discarded Auburn.

LSU has dominated the football field in the last 3 weeks. The only other team that compares is Oklahoma.

I try to be objective about it, but I just don't understand what the national media has against LSU.

Because the Power 16 poll is voted on by ESPN, ESPN the Magazine, and ESPN.com, while the other poll which has LSU at number 4 is the ESPN/USAToday poll which includes opinions from USA Today as well.
