    Geaux Randall! :geauxtige

Honestly, I'm a bit torn. I usually cheer for the underdog if two teams play that I don't usually root for, but six ex-LSU players wearing Patriots blue...wow.

Here's to it being another great Super Bowl!

I can't put in words how proud I am of him. I'm originally from Plaquemine, and the same age as him. I've been knowing him personally since we were both playing little league baseball in the same league. I'm not a Patriots fan, infact I hate the Patriots with a passion, but I'll be cheering for Blue to get a SB ring this Sunday.

I can understand pulling for the underdog, but I can't understand (other than some geographic rivalry) how any true football fan could hate the patriots. The patriots are everything that is right about football. Team goals, team work and team achievement. They have no superstars. Tom Brady is considered a superstar but he is simply a QB who never makes a mistake. He performs his role in the team exceptionally. However, so does everyone else on that team. That is why they can't be beat. No one cares about who is getting the touches or the press or the accolades. They care about what they can do to help the team win. Bellichik tells players, buy into it and win or leave, we don't care who you are. Ty Law had to learn that lesson, and because he made the right decision he's going to get another ring on Sunday.

Geaux f'n Pats. Go get Kevin his 3rd, Jarvis and Rohan their second, and Randall and Marquise their first ring.

See, this is even more of a reason for me to hate the Pats! I'm a lifelong Dolphins fan (and as such, root against only the Bills more than the Pats.)

Only an evil franchise would put together this kind of self-less, definition-of-good-football kind of team, stock it full of great Tigers, and be such a pleasure to watch. I've gotta think they did this to torment me personally! DAMN YOU SCOTT PIOLI AND BELICHICK! DAMN YOU STRAIGHT TO CLEVELAND!

haha, even though you are a Dolphins fan, i'm in the same boat as you. I'm a lifelong Bills fan. A Couple years ago when they took the Colts out of the AFCE, I was excited because Manning and Harrison were leaving just as they were gonna hit their prime, and I knew it would be down to the Bills and Dolphins for the division. Then out of nowhere's comes the worst team in the division. Fuggin Patriots. Will make it even that much more sweeter when the fall on their face. :cuss:

Regardless of how you've felt about the Patriots before, how can you not pull for a team with so many LSU Tigers on it?

Easy, I say something like "Go Eagles!" or "I don't like the Patriots!"

I tend to not put TOO much emphasis on collegiate loyalties at the pro level anyway. This case is indeed tough b/c there are so many Tigers (and good ones at that.) But, as an example, I'm not going to root against the Giants, just b/c Eli went to Ole Miss. I understand people that do, and that's fine, but I tend to enjoy the two games separately, as they (NCAA and NFL) are pretty different.

Not being a huge fan of the NFL (although it's better than no football at all), I've really enjoyed the proliferation of Tigers throughout the league. It makes it better for a college football fan, such as myself.

You can root for a player or players without rooting for the team.
I want to see the Eagles win because they were my preseason pick. I don't want to see the Patriots win simply because they are becoming unstoppable and I prefer to see interesting games. However, I really like how the Patriots handle themselves and their whole philosophy. Yet again, the Eagles have lost 3 championship games in a row to get to the superbowl and it'd be great to see them win it. AHHH!
