    Everybody in the SEC knows how good Patterson is but he never got any respect until now from outside the SEC.

    during the southern game the other night, they also said that he leads the SEC in hits.

    I would not want to be on the mound when he came up to bat with people on base in a one run game. It had to be in the back of every pitcher's mind that he can deposit one over Nicholson Dr. every time he swings the bat. That does not help becuase you start thinking that you have to make the perfect pitch.
