I know most of you, especially those located in Louisiana, have probably already received or at least heard of the newest LSU publication, GEAUX Magazine . I just got the first promotional issue in the mail yesterday and let me say that it's ABOUT TIME we see a high-gloss and ACTUAL magazine about LSU athletics!!! Nothing against the people at Tiger Rag , but it's nice to actually be afforded a product that looks like a real magazine instead of a newspaper insert. I see all the time advertisements for Blue & Gold Illustrated (Notre Dame) or Longhorn Illustrated , in publications such as Athlons, and have been envious of those types. I always thought we certainly had the fan base to sustain an A+ publication like that. I just subscribed to Tiger Rag just a month ago, but I will definately subscribe to GEAUX Magazine as well, and if it offers just equal to Tiger Rag in terms of information, I think I'll stick with GEAUX --it looks so much better.
Couldn't agree more. My wife gets a nice Aggie sports mag and I've wished LSU had one. I'm going to have to try Geaux Times SOON!

Don't know if any of you noticed, but on the cover of their recent magazine they had a big picture of Russell, but the caption said "Randall gets a second chance at a first impression" (or something similar) :shock: Gotta wonder if Geaux Magazine will get a second chance too :hihi: :lsup:
Wow you are right! http://www.geauxmag.com/cover.php I received two issues of Geaux magazine and they do look nice. However, I am hesitant to buy a subscription after getting screwed by Purple and Gold. I am going to stick with Tiger Rag for now.
we had this discussion before and its about time we get a good looking rag which had me excited and about to describe. edit: describe? i need less coffee. subscribe then i see the randall error which trumps my excitement. that's inexcusable. flynn's name would have at least been funny.
I just got off the phone with them and they are certainly very aware of it (now !). However, the guy I spoke with said that the response has been very favorable. If my son goes 2 for 3 in his game tomorrow night I promised we would subscribe ( I will anyway !).
