of coaching jobs in the US tonight. Auburn fans are really worried that Tuberville might leave them. These are the same people who wanted him gone last year. It was fun to listen to Paul tell Auburn fans that LSU's program is better than theirs. He mentioned we had better facilities, better recruiting base (LA and Texas), and better tradition than the Barners. As much as I wouldn't want Tuberville here, it is funny to listen to all their fans hold their breath until the LSU position is fielded. Barner fans were getting all upset with the reality that LSU is the better program. LSUDAN
I'm no Auburn fan. I agree with you. However, thanks for inviting about 50,000 Auburn fans to come on our board and argue the point. Note to Auburn fans: No need to dispute this point on this thread. LSU will stipulate to the notion that Auburn fans think that Auburn is an equal or better program than LSU.
Let me ask this, if this is a "top 10 coaching position" right now in the US, why are we looking at, in my opinion, B category coaches like Petrino, 2 years as a HC at Louisville in the CUSA FOR GOD SAKES, Les Miles - please, etc. If this is so good, who are grade A coaches we should be looking at? Just my opinion b/c the coaches names I've heard that we may be looking at are just not good enough for the LSU position.
I'm surprised Finebaum would say that, because based upon reading his columns periodically and hearing him on the radio, I've always thought he was a jerk and I've never heard him say anything positive about LSU. :geaux:
The state worships that team... a coach that wins there could win the state in a presidential race.. Top 10 Places to Coach 1. LSU 2. Michigan 3. Oklahoma 4. Florida 5. Nebraska 6. Ohio State 7. Southern Cal 8. Texas 9. Penn St. 10. Miami
