Hi new to the forum and love the board. Im a North Louisiana Tiger fan. I have a cup of dirt I got from the 2000 OT game against Tennessee from the eye and I have a purple and gold bathroom including shower.

My question to the group is this, Would Jimbo be welcomed back as Head Coach of LSU one day.

Same reason no one has hired him as a head coach yet, he isn't ready.

And by the way, if you haven't figured it out yet from this thread and the one you started, most people are OK with 22-4 Coach Miles, OK?

Same reason Bo Pelini wasn't given a chance in Nebraska after he lead the Huskers to a W in the Alamo Bowl after they ran Solich off.

He's not ready to be a head coach.

I actually like Coach Miles. I think he is a good coach, and I actually beleive what he says...so I find that comforting.

Welcome to the forum Taylortown, glad you like it here.

I see no reason for Jimbo to not be considered for the job someday. He did some great work here, and left in a dignified manner. I hope he does very well at FSU (not just b/c I'm an FSU sympathizer) and beyond.

Hi there back. Been on the forum for awhile and I POOP purple and gold in my white and baige bathroom.

    Congrats on the dirt...

Fisher won't be head coach at LSU because Miles isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

If Miles pulls a Nick Saban on LSU, I think Pelini would make an excellent replacement.
