All the underlying coaching problems came to bite us in the ass on national TV this evening

I can guarantee you that under Les Miles, LSU will not only not win an NC, they won't win an SEC CG nor the SEC West (Auburn and Alabama will rule the roost these upcoming years).

So deal with it, and if your name is SabanFan or you think like him, you feel warm and fuzzy inside and are completely satisfied with the team's performance this past season.

Congrats to the players, however, you played your hearts out under some fairly pitiful coaching and still won in spite of them.

    Discuss.....

and the fair weather fans begin to surface from their holes in the ground. hopefully it stays on just this one thread.

no blame for Jimbo???? I would accept your argument more if that was who you were gunning for.

Did you really think there was bad playcalling? If you can tell, get your crystal ball and 900 number because as far as I could tell, the execution was so bad there's hardly a way to judge the playcalling.

From what I could see, I didn't think the playcalling was bad at all, really. Just a simple beatdown.

ya know, even when LSU lost a game with Saban, i felt that they were a well coached team, executed well, but somehow we lost anyway.

Now, even when we won, i felt the team...was lacking. I'm no expert with the x's and o's, but i don't think think that Miles is ever going to be a great coach.

I think we have the talent to open up a high powered offense, but the play calling is to the contrary.

I don't have a warm and fuzzy about LSU football with Les.

I see Auburn having great teams in upcoming years...but did Bama have a slew of seniors that started on their team this year? If so, Bama may be rebuilding for several years. I would not give up on Miles yet..I sat next to a Georgia and Aubun fans tonite in Lexington...they did make a great point...LSU could have easily lost 2-3 more games this year, but got lucky breaks. They did say, with the talent in the atate of Louisiana (scouts has #5 ranked class), they will compete. My friend (UGA fan) did make an interesting point, LSU is not in the SEC EAST! Think about it, UGA, UT, Florida, and now USC....LSU will be fine...don't forget, Saban got punked in Athens. You win some...you lose some (just ask Va Tech!!!!) :geauxtige

Playcalling was pretty bad... we started JV when we shoulda stayed with what worked (shyrone carey). 3rd and 23 and we run up the gut. All long passes, no screens when UGA blitzed. yadda yadda yadda

I would call it a coaching failure! It should have been easy to motivate a team to play good football for at least 1 quarter. Damn they were playing for the SECC! how could they be so flat?
