What I really don't get is that reportedly he didn't want to get moved from RB to LB, which was one of the factors that lead to his transfer. Why then would he switch to safety? Whatever. Good luck to him. He obviously transfered to the more successful program!   :geauxtige
Some players would rather play NOW than play later in a bigger program. Especially if they worry about making grades. The thought of flunking out before you ever make it onto the field has made many a player think about programs like Northwestern State.
Even if he was moved to LB, he wouldn't have seen the field much. He just wanted to play. Plus, he was already declined by the program he wanted to go to, Grambling, so he didn't have many choices left. Also, our RB coach is huge *********. Broussard quit the team because of him, and it took Miles to convince him to come back.
we all don't fit perfectly in each and every situation. if we did, none of us would ever change jobs! let's wish this young man luck and hope that he succeeds at northwestern st :thumb:
It's obvious he was willing to play any position as long as he got to play sooner rather than later. Good luck to him!
