Forget the QB's why did Alley Broussard not get the ball more

Can someone tell me why Alley did not get the Ball Saturday night he touched it maybe 3 times and the first time was late in the 3rd or early in the 4th. Vincent is probably the best RB on a dry field but Broussard was the best RB on the wet field because of the way he runs the ball and the coaches did not give him the ball.

I was thinking the same thing!

Vincent leaves his feet to much and on a wet field that isn't good.

If you had been sitting by me......

You'd have heard me screaming his name most of the night.

The only thing I have come up with over the last 2 days is that Vincent can catch the ball better and when Broussard enters the game there is no secret where we are going with the ball - either way, Bo Jackson would have struggled running the ball with our O-Line getting no push up front and a defense stacked in the box. I can't remember us running off center once in the game - nothing seemed to be straight ahead...

This was my question throughout the whole game. I thought Alley behind Ben would have been real effective. Also the weakest part of OSU defense is their DT's.

Addai led all rushers with 6.5 yards-per-carry on his only two rushes. I think we are going to see more of Addai at RB, as well as wideout.

I've posted this before but I found it strange that when the depth chart came out, Alley Broussard was 3rd behind JV and Joe Addai (who had one helluva game Saturday night IMHO). I'm not sure what to make of it. Its certainly possible that JA has produced more in practice. Maybe Saban is trying to send a message. I don't know. However, I believe that we can all safely assume that Alley Broussard will have his impact on the team this year.

The offensive game plan was great ... on a dry field

    \
The "adjustments" for a sloppy field were never made ...

and the price of never having a wet practice cost LSU ... LSU goes indoors to the best College FB facility in America

Lessons Learned ... The rest of the teams have a chance on our schedule ...

they can flood their fields :hihi:

Auburn is hard up enough to maybe try it ... especially after MSU gives them all they can handle this week.
