anybody know which recruiting service he is referring to here?

"As far as do we take into consideration what some of the — heh, heh — recruiting evaluators on the outside take, well, I don't know," Wilson said in an interview with 104.5 FM in Baton Rouge Monday. "Here's what I can tell you. It's hard from me to take credence in a guy who's scheduled to evaluate in Louisiana, and he's based in Oklahoma and he's assigned four different states. And he doesn't come to Louisiana in three years. He's never been to Pointe Coupee. He's never been to Baldwin. They don't even know where it is. So how can you possibly give a ranking to someone you've never seen?"

"We have to trust our evaluation, because we go to every nook and cranny in the state of Louisiana," Wilson said. ... we're watching them at their school, and we're getting them on our campus in the position-specific drills that we'll teach them or we'll ask them to do when they get to LSU."

"We watch them their junior year, their senior year and give them an honest assessment," he said. "From that point on, we make the determination as a staff. We're not concerned if he's a two-star and not a five-star. That makes for good reading, and we certainly love those guys' profession. But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter who it is — Sports Illustrated, Rivals, Scout, whomever. They're not going to determine who we should offer. We're going to offer based off collectively as a staff the guys we evaluate. This is what we do. And this is a great quality class in every way."

LSU is better today than it was on Jan 9th. QBs Mett/Liggins replace the awful JJ/Lee & added 6 bona-fide studs to our weak-link LB corps.

Well, I'll be the "idiot" or the "lone voice in the wilderness" and say that this class was at-best a Dinardoesque recruiting job. LSU lost the top three recruits in the state of Louisiana - that should never, ever happen. Miles needs to reexamine who his recruiters are, who those guys they are recruiting, how they are recruiting and why they are getting beat out? Don't ever want to hear about "putting a fence up around Louisiana" because it's never happened under his watch. January 2012 has been disasterous for LSU.

Love the honesty and straight talk from Frank. Very reassuring.

I think our LB corps is gonna be great, really excited about Kwon. Also, since he was committed for so long, few are talking about Avery Johnson today. He's gonna be a good one.
