Columbus, Ohio: I really hope the pollsters do the right thing and jump LSU and Oklahoma over Boston College. The Buckeyes match up well with both those schools, but we won't get the respect we deserve if we're stuck playing an overrated bunch of ND rejects like Boston College. We get those other teams and beat them, and we'll be considered one of the best-ever teams in college football.

Adam Kilgore: Apologies, Columbus, but you want no part of LSU. You should be praying to Beano Cook that the pollsters vote LSU as far down as humanly possible. On a neutral field, I would need at least 15 points to back the Buckeyes against LSU. At least.
By the way, there is no other way for this season to end than for Llyod Carr and Michigan to beat Ohio State at the Big House for one last crazy shakeup of the polls. It's going to happen. You just know it is. (Not you, Columbus. The collective you. And nothing personal by trashing on Ohio State today. Just not a huge fan of that team right now.)

OSU needs to be casredful of their tone about BC. Imo BC would give them a pretty good romping.

I'm surprised how much love Kilgore gives to LSU. Our offense has been a little unremarkable. He makes it seem as if we're unstoppable.

Sorry fellas. I'm still nervous about us after the Florida and Kentucky games.

We all are. But I think people realize that talent wise, LSU and USC seem to be head and shoulders above the others. I think if either team plays up to its potential it's very hard for anyone to beat them. Of course both teams have been shooting themselves in the foot a lot so we haven't really seen a "perfect game" from either one.

This is also why I'm really hoping that if LSU wins out and goes to the NC, we get USC. I think that would be the best possible matchup this season.

Not so coincidentally, our offense has suffered as (a) injuries on offenses mounted, including to our first-string WR and QB, and (b) as the level of competition increased. We're still getting at least 28 points per game though, which isn't too shabby (even if some of the points are from special teams and/or the defense).

Did I miss the special teams and defensive points? Other than the fake field goal against SC, I can't think of another TD scored this season by anyone but our offense.

Am I having that much of a brain fart right now?

I'm still dumbfounded as to how anyone can believe that Michigan under Carr can beat OSU under Tressel. Simply dumbfounded.

You are right. Logically, it does not make sense. But, Michigan beating OSU at the end of the year would be a fitting end to what has been one of craziest college football seasons I have seen in my lifetime.
