The recent commitments of WR Early Doucet (St. Martinville, La.) and LB Luke Sanders (West Monroe, La.) gives LSU the slight edge over the Sooners right now. While LSU does not have many more scholarships to offer, they would sure like to land defense tackle Marlon Favorite (West Jefferson - Harvey, La.) and offensive lineman Herman Johnson (Denton, Texas). If the Tigers end up with the nation's best class, they would be first school since Notre Dame in 1989-90 to win back-to-back recruiting titles.

You can bet your last nickel Lemming won't have LSU #1 in the end. His latest ESPN claptrap barely mentions LSU. His new TOP 100 (out tomorrow) will knock Glenn Dorsey #98 off his list ... just watch. It's the only way he can get to put a spit shine on USC's #1 knob. Lemming is just another USC ass clown, just like Keith Jackson & Trev Alberts.

Don't place too much emphasis on Lemming's rankings ... a Top 3 finish for LSU by Lemming means we got the best class.

The media "experts" are the ones that refused to give LSU their rightful place at sole #1. What counts is on the field.

I quit reading any of his crap long ago, but I understand he had LSU 3rd last year, USC #1.

Do you have a link showing him picking LSU #1?

    Here's One

I know Lemming is shithead, and I really dont like him all that much. But hell, he had us #1 last year, and if we get Xavier and a couple of other big time recruits that are left, he has got to do it again. We are on track to land 8-10 of his top 100. Doucet, Carter, & Favorite are in his top 10. All I am saying is that if anyone has us at #1 it will be him.
