Says he didn't want to play the game this week at all. Says the "only reason I refused to play Saturday was because several families asked me not to allow their sons to play" and whatnot Says he is disappointed at the outcome of this whole thing. :dis:
Can someone tell me where Tennessee or the visiting team period walks to their locker room at? Or where their locker room is? I need to talk to Mr. Fulmer
"..parents asked him not to have their kids play.." - If I was a young man in college, I would be totally humiliated if my "mommy and daddy" went to the coach and said he shouldn't make me play in the rain. I doubt it's true - and only a big wuss would even make up such a story.
We should all go to the UT board and let them know how stupid this is. Whoever gets banned from the board first wins. :hihi:
The real reason is that he was scared there would be no donuts left in Baton Rouge for him especially if the power went out.
Actually I heard it was the players' parole officers calling worried that if the power went out while they were in Baton Rouge that their ankle monitors would no longer work and then the looting would be really bad. :yelwink2: As bad as his team is playing, its no suprise that he wants to play the game at the end of the season when we've played 9 straight games.
I never thought I'd say this given my utter disdain for Ole Piss, but Tennessee has officially replaced them as the team I hate the most in the SEC. If OUR kids can play through it and they LIVE here, why can't they? Fulmer is such a pu$$y. I don't even see how he commands one ounce of respect from his team because he surely doesn't get it from elsewhere around the conference.
You guys are letting your hatred for Tenn. get in the way. Not wanting their sons to fly into a cat 3/4 hurricane is a legitimate concern. They shouldn't have to put their lives at risk for the game. Now, the reason Phat Phil wanted to shift the game until later in the year is clear...his team will be stronger and more experienced, and potentially healthier. No doubt he tried to use a legitimate excuse to move the game..I just don't hate the fans or the players or the parents for wanting to move the game. Monday it will be safe to fly and travel, so there are no excuses for Monday. We got put out when our game was moved to Tempe on 4 days notice, so them having to push back their travel plans 2 days is not a concern to me.
Everyone oughta be able to see the writing on the urnge walls. Fat Phil is pissed because he wanted them to move back the SECCG a week, and have us play the week before it. He quite simply is scared to play us right now because his team has absolutely sucked balls in their only 2 games. He thought he could buy some time to tune-up his team for such a big game. Too bad, Phil. Take your ass-kicking like a man. What a pathetic loser.
