You'd be amazed how their perception is that the media is all on LSU/SEC just as much as we feel it's on USC. It makes me laugh while reading on each of the boards when I think of the others' take on the media.
That's classic. Florida's loss was to a perennial top 10 Div ! SEC team while Michigans was to a Div II team that lost to Wofford 2 weeks later. Ummm, I can see the distinction. I also agree that they sound a lot like us.
My favorite post was the one said how completely insignificant the AP was during the season (because now LSU is #1), but how completely significant the AP is at the end of the season (because they have to protect that '03 NC) all i could do was :lol: :lol: :lol: By the way, is "fight on" their Geaux Tigers?
Essentially yes. It's also the name of one of our school songs. The band usually plays it after first downs and touchdowns. Fight On is considered an unofficial greeting when you see other Trojans and is accompanied by the two fingered "V" for victory sign.
What is that droning tune that goes on ad nauseum from start to finish. I swear, I cannot keep the audio on during a USC game. It drives me batty.
Pretty interesting story there too. I'd asked that question on your board one time and was surprised how many responded they weren't aware of it's origins- I say that cause I've found USC fans to, collectively, be very well versed in traditions surrounding the program.
