What if.. USC loses to UCLA Texas goes undefeated Texas plays Penn State in the Rose bowl USC plays ND in the Fiesta USC wins... Texas loses.... would USC claim another National Chumpionship b/c they also ended the season with 1 loss :lol:
I don't know...I actually thought it was funny the first time and get a kick now every time I hear that USC is going for the "threepeat".
They did not "claim" anything. They were awarded the AP National Championship by the AP voters. A national championship that has been valued longer than most of us on this forum have been living. Claiming a national championship is what Auburn did last year. Not finishing #1 in any of the human polls and no NC game win... then still getting rings to honor their "national championship".

Exactly. Personally, I find absolutely nothing funny at all about either USC or Texas losing over the next two weeks and LSU *not* being the 1-loss who gets to the Rose Bowl.
