Sorry...I was thinking of a guy that used to play ball for Denham High that I worked with a few years back...Tiras Magee...Sorry... If this guy was so athletic...Who was recruiting him that LSU swooped in almost at the very end of the recruiting period to "snatch" him? What schools? Please let me know...
Well hes athletic but alot of people are athletic but cant do jack with it. Thats good for the playground against a bunch of other kids but I don't know how it will work in a somewhat structured offense against other SEC caliber athletes.
DD, I know you didn't mean it in the context I am quoting it in, but I agree with that assessment of Brady's "offense"... ;-)
I meant it exactly like that....I hope this is Brady's last year. Brady Ball is about as exciting as watching paint dry.
I thought you were a member of the now nefarious and infamous BBMLB... Brady Butt Munch Lunch Bunch Maybe I'm getting DD & BB mixed up...
Oh God no! Brady's idea of offense is going down the court passing the ball around the perimeter until hardly any time is left on the clock when then we throw up a prayer or just decide to turn the ball over.
This may very well be the dumbest thing I've ever heard. SO....since JB was able to bring in all these other top recruits, HOW DARE HE LOSE ONE!? Obviously something's wrong with his ability to recruit. Please respond with something original, NOT: 1. You took that out of context (yeah, sure) 2. You don't know the whole story (I can't fathom how knowing the "whole story" would explain this ludicrous statement) 3. You're just a Brady lover (no, I'm just an LSU fan that knows good recruiting when I see it) BTW. Lay off the incoming freshmen. It shows a serious lack of class and really makes me question whether your hatred for John Brady is stronger than your loyalty to LSU.
I agree with you on this for once I do agree with TE on this one. Very rarely does anyone redshirt in college basketball these days. Garret Temple would not get playing time at McNeese State University much less LSU. But, he is part of the LSU family and signing him and Big Baby helped I'm sure. You are also right about Tyrus Thomas. He doesn't have the skills to play at the Division I level. But neither do Darnell Lazarre, Paul Wolfert, Josh Mavarich, etc. I know Wolfert and Mavarich are walk-ons, but I never thought we should have signed Darnell Lazarre. Anyway - this is my first post in a while I've been away. I was previously posting under BasileTiger - but changed screen names, etc. Needless to say I'm looking forward to this basketball season. I might even make the Tulane game on November 19.
