Just turned on the tube to see Garrett Temple playing for the Spurs in a closely heated game against the Suns. He just hit an open 3 then drove and scored a layup in transition. Definitely surprised to see Temple playing this much after not getting drafted, so mad props to him for getting playing time. He has 9 points already! Keep the good work up.
He has moved a lot this season. He had 10 day gigs with Sacramento and Houston. He got on with the spurs on a 10, and they locked him down for the remainder of the season. It is great he is developing som offense to go with the lockdown D.
You know, i thought he would have been drafted because of his defensive abilities. I would take a lockdown defender in the draft any day of the week.
