Geaux Trojans in Orange

This evening, I visited some of the old Oklahoma boards I'd lurked on during last season leading up to the final BCS standings and bowl pairings. All I see is stuff of this sort about today's game:

LSU fans are terrible
LSU deserves everything that has happened to them
Louisiana is a **** *** **** state

I have no idea how so many of us have been suckered into thinking that OU is the lesser of two evils here and thus chose to pull for them. I'll be damned if I cheer one bit for a team represented by such people.

I will say this loud and clear:

OU Fans Hate LSU

One of my best friend is a huge OU fan and we both attended the Sugar Bowl together with some LSU friends and had great time in New Orleans. This year we decided to go to the Red River Shootout in Dallas to root for the Sooners and during my time in Dallas I sported my LSU attire proudly. For two days I was confronted by OU fans telling me how rude, distateful, erc.. the LSU fans were during their stay in N.O. . A few even stated that LSU fans spit on them after the game. I tried to assure them that is not the case for the majority but I can tell by 20-30 conversations - OU fans do not like LSU - period. I'm not surprised regarding the information on their board.

Personally I could care less if it was Bourbon St. all girls queer school, as long as they beat the hell out the condums! :cuss:

 

I'm no OU fan although Mr peabody has been a welcomed and pleasant guest here, but there is no way in hell I'm pulling for the condoms!!!!!! I'll have to put aside all the negative comments for one night as I pull for OU in the Orange. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

 

Yeah I went there earlier today and saw the same things. Surprising that they're still crying about last years loss. :bncry:

They can say what they want... Whether they like us or hate us, they're still saying our name....

 

I don't care who wins that game, but that graphic posted by Marine Tiger is fantastic.

 

Both the OU fans and the press thought the game was little more than a formality before crowning OU king. They were both wrong and many OU fans that had already bought their championship gear had their feelings hurt. If you don't remember you could buy OU championship gear right off one of their websites before the game was even played. The best team won and they are still having problems dealing with it. Still it's Geaux Sooners for me in the Orange.
