Well, republicans are racists and do in fact hate women. Except Sarah Palin b/c she knows how to hunt.
Nope. Newspapers and News TV are split but with FoxNews and the Wall Street Journal owned by Murdoch, they are very conservative and huge in their markets. Talk radio is owned by Limbaugh and conservative DJ's. Political books are largely conservative. Only in Hollywood film is the media largely liberal.
Sorry Red I would say the balance is left leaning. You ignore the fact that in print media the most influential papers NY Times, LA Times and most others lean left and their weight is greater than the WSJ. Also internet papers such as the Huffington Post are very influential. MSNBC has similar influence to Fox and the national TV news media pulls strongly left (look at guest lists, topics and panel members for clues). I will give you talk radio as the right rules it. I read as many liberal books as conservative and would say there is a balance. On the whole the political tune of media is liberal.
Um not hardly, Winston said it well, additionally CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS Newsweek and Time tend to lean liberal just as Fox leans conservative.....as I said media is primarily liberal.
You cannot make a case for this except for MSNBC which has set itself up as the Anti-FOX. CNN and the new magazines are as balanced as they come in this country. That is the mantra of the right wing, but you cannot make a case for it. There are simply too many conservative and balanced news sources available to suggest that all of "the media" is liberal.
