What are our chances of Al Woods turning McCoy towards LSU?

If we do have a shot, Al Woods will have to be a catalyst, IMO. Also, having a DT tandem of Williams and Wroten also able to sit and visit with both McCoy and Woods, we have proof to show McCoy what success you can have with a fellow Blue-chipper beside you.

Throw in the fact that LSU has had GREAT success sending our defensive line players to the NFL.

I don't know about others, but when I think of Penn State, I think of linebackers....When I think of Michigan, I usually think QB's....when I think of Miami, running backs come to mind. But, for all of our super talented players to come out of LSU and have good pro careers, I think the defensive line has been our staple.

Just since 2003, we've had D-linemen Hill, Spears, Lavalais already in the pros and Wroten and Williams set to join them (don't underestimate big Melvin Oliver finding his way on a pro roster for training camp as well). We also have one of the brightest young coaches (Dunbar) as the position coach.

Can anyone summarize the Rivals article about him?
Was he pleased or displeased by his LSU visit?

He was pleased. Said he and Al Woods got along great and like someone else mentioned, he enjoyed the cooking and female sights around campus. :thumb:

The thought of he and Al Woods in the middle of our d-line really gets me excited about the future, especially with a coach like Dunbar.
