1. Run and gun. Only one in 5 up the middle. Spread the field and make it quick. Put as many points on the board as we can. Forget about ball control, score! Geaux TIgers

  2. Send the WR's deep and then hit the RB's and tight ends for short yds. 8-12 yds or so. That would confuse the LB's and safeties. Eat the clock and move the chains. After a quarter of that the deep passes would open up. If the defense starts hesitating on its rush then that would give our running game a boost.

  3. Throw the ball to the running backs. Nicks defenses have always been vulnerable to a running back slipping out of the backfield late.
  4. Just win baby! (Al Davis RIP)
  5. I want to see a LSU player dance on the A in the middle of their field afterwards to the Suck that Tiger dick chant.

    O wee oooo so sweet.

  6. Seriously it doesn't matter which option we take, the flow of the game will dictate the offense.

More important is the will of the team. When two equal teams play it is the team that wants it more and has the stronger will that wins. In the past several years the only difference between the teams has been will. Nov 2011 our will won, Jan 2012 theirs did and last Nov in Tiger stadium the teams will won until the coaches' (from Les on down) will failed. It wasn't talent differential but will that determined the outcome of those games.
This year the D needs more than strong will we need to fully realize our potential and play at a much higher level than any previous game this season.
The O needs to impose its will on the Gump D for the whole game. It must score and have long drives to protect the D when possible and score quickly to keep close when required. We'll need both power running and high octane passing to win.

  7. My theory is since our defense has no depth, and is clearly our Achilles, we have to control the time of possession, run the football, grind, chew up clock, and keep their defense on the field as much as possible, and our D off the field as much as possible. 3 and outs ain't gonna cut it.

  8. damn straight pass it down their throats no mercy.
  9. Agreed. Gotta grind it out and get short distance 3rd downs converted. Our defense will collapse again if they have to play more than 70 plays. Our D will give up points, just gotta limit the damage by controlling the clock.
  10. My theory is play aggressive, with a strong passing game that opens things up for the run. Get some defensive stops, get a comfortable lead, then grind.

Mix it up based on what the d gives you, exploit weakness, have the potential for a balanced attack, utilize a running qb if able, to exploit ignorance of college defenses.

Pressure the qb early to exploit the ignorance of college qbs and shake them up remainder of game, solid run d. Keep things in front of you as the score gets away from your opponent to help grind the clock.
