They are VERY serious about bring this to LSU in 2006. They did something similar in the last 80's and the place booed them as if they were the aggie band.

I though this was a football crowd picture at first...

I enjoyed the comment that the game in New Orleans being package with season tickets and that's all LSU wanted. Lemme see, 60,000 season ticket holders and 40,000 tickets... It doesn't figure, unless you're in charge of counting the gate for Tulane home football games: Count the number of legs in the place and assume all are amputees.

Time-honored loser's argument. Discredit your competitor instead of promoting yourself.

It would seem logical, at least to this LSU graduate, the easiest way to show one's desire to see LSU knocked off that expansive perch would be to cheer for the local non-LSU team. In this situation, that would be the Paul Tulane University of Louisiana.

Unless, of course, one is grasping at straws. Which leads to this interesting fact, the family pack of Tulane season tickets are on sale for $200. It includes four tickets to all home games in the non-alcohol sections, four drinks, and four WEENIES.

Man, I hope LSU got good financial incentive to play these weiners every other year in the Dome.

One bright spot! It does give LSU more "experience" winning big in the Dome, and that could really be useful every 4 years or so when the NC is in N.O. (2004, 2008, 2012, etc)

LSU's getting over half of the tickets in the Stupidome to sell and keep the cash. The Times-Picyernose has indicated LSU will pulling in well over million for playing in New Orleans. Easily this will be the biggest payout by to visitor in college football.

I'd completely forgotten this info, which I hope one of our SEC family can verify, the Scum seem to think they have a three-year 1-for-2 deal with Alabama starting in 2006, a tow-year home-and-home with Auburn starting in 2006, and a ten-year home-and-home with Ole Miss also set for 2006. Toss in our contract and you gotta wonder if they are planning to play in CUSA as an SEC West teams-only schedule.

Fact, or they really hitting the crack pipe about scheduling the SEC West?
