http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/F/FBC_T25_LSUS_SEASON?SITE=FLTAM&SECTION=SPORTS Paul Newberry has done a good summation for your team and your season. As much as there are fans who thought this team... or these coaches... should have done more, won bigger, played better, whatever... it appears the players have endured a set of experiences that will have a positive effect on their lives for many years to come. Good Luck in Atlanta. You have every right to be proud of what this year's version of LSU football has accomplished.
Every poster who has complaints about this team, this season, players and coaches should be ashamed of themselves and re-evaluate whether they are really an LSU fan...or just a fan of their own selfish a$$.
An excellent story to help put a troubled season into perspective. This team is full of great young men. :geauxtige
Awesome read. I'm proud of this team and their accomplishments this year, and proud of LSU in general! :geauxtige
Good. AP voters can show LSU more love by making them #1 and keeping them there after a Sugar Bowl win, making them national champs should UT and USC lose this weekend.
Who anointed you king and judge... nay...Grand Poobah of all LSU fan sincerity? You have a real problem with opinions, my friend. Someone who's been around as long as you ought to realize that they are just like ***holes - there isn't any use getting all worked up over people posting theirs on a message board.
Although I share his outlook on the season (for the most part, anyway - I think the offense largely underachieved), he did the same thing during baseball season. He even made a call-out thread in which he listed a bunch of posters who continually expressed discontent with Smoke. If you hang around FSA much, you'll notice that he's not into questioning leaders.
So . . . why are you getting all worked up over SabanFans opinion? He's just responding to some other self-appointed poohbahs. There will always be someone trying to pull doom-and-gloom down on our heads and someone else trying to pump sunshine up our chutes. There will always be banter between them. C'est la Vie.
