This sounds like more of the attitude that we heard from the '07 team early on. It was noticeably lacking most of last year.

nice article. thank for the link. stacey is right. that attitude was mia last year. last year seemed to be more of a "who gives a sh!t" attitude.

agree but if its being talked about its not a good thing. if you're willing to do it, do it without pointing out you're sacrificing. its understood. i dont think you will recall hester or that team pointing out what they were giving up. they just did it. this isnt a knock on scott; just part of the mentality that separates winners from losers.

Whoa. The guy was asked a question. It probably sounded like, "How do you feel about lining up at fullback?"

Re-read his response and you'll find no mention of sacrificing or giving up anything.

I agree. And what's more...I believe they wanted to use Johnson more, but he proved to be too unreliable wih the ball (fumbling, dropping the pass, etc.). You won't see this from CS. I also agree that having any combination of our TB's on the field can only be a good thing. More targets...more options...more things for the D to look for.

If we have two things happen early in the season: consistently good QB play and a solid O-line, this is going to be a very dangerous offensive team again. If LSU can put together a speed and power game, opposing defenses are gonna have a hell of a time figuring out how to stop it.
