Boutte was pulled because he could not pass block worth a damn and held on a play that cost us a TD.

Change could be coming on LSU's offensive line when LSU lines up against Auburn Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Tiger Stadium.
Starting junior right guard Josh Boutte was benched for the second half of LSU's 21-19 victory at Mississippi State after struggling through the first half. Freshman Maea Teuhema was inserted at left guard with Will Clapp moving to the right side.
Boutte, who has drawn praise for his size and strength, struggled from the start. On his final play, LSU's final play of the first half, he was beaten easily by his man, which caused the Tigers' only allowed sack of the game in 17 called pass plays.
Earlier in the first half, Boutte' let two tacklers go by him unblocked on a read option handoff that resulted in a 1 yards loss by Leonard Fournette. Later on the same drive, he was flagged for holding when he grabbed blitzing LB Richie Brown and pulled him down to nullify a 37-yard scoring pass from Brandon Harris to Travin Dural. LSU eventually scored on the drive.
Teuhema subbed in earlier in the first half before finishing the game in the second.
LSU coach Les Miles commented on the in-game move afterward, saying, "We've got to get him coming because he's a dominant player, too. He needs a little seasoning, a little coaching."
