1. Good

LSU defense, it's as elite as ever and is going to keep us in most games. Oh and we have is a legit kicker. Nice.

    Bad

LSU offense, dropped passes, penalties, wasting timeouts due to play clock going to 0, poor and inconsistent offensive line play. Red zone offense needs to be much better.

Not going to beat Auburn, Georgia or Alabama at this inadequate level of play.

    Ugly

The Miami Hurricanes. Gonna be a long season.

  2. I wouldn't use the term bad for the offense. Meh, yes to a degree but it looked like the biggest weakness was the OL. Great to see Brossette seizing the workhorse role.

Burrow showed great decision making skills and would have had better stats with more protection and without a couple of drops.
  3. From what i witnessed tonite, LSUs offensive coaching staff needs to adopt that KILLER INSTINCT...This team can accomplish great things if it gets rid of the conservative approach on offense......The second half started reminding me of LES MILES FOOTBALL....Get a lead and sit on it the rest of the way.......

  4. You just couldn't wait to see if @red55 would come back could you?

Now I know why he left
  5. Nonsense ... You weren’t even close in your predictions for this game

Auburn won’t score 17 points on LSU.
LSU will beat Auburn at Auburn ...
Auburn won’t be an 11 Point favorite in Las Vegas like they were in the Preseason ... Likely the line will now be 4 - 6 points ...

LSU can win and will be in every game they play this year and easily win 10 this season!

BROSETTE ran for over 125 yards!
When the play calling began to get too conservative, the scoring stopped ...

    Ensminger learned a valuable lesson
The sky is the limit for this team.

  6. I would rate the O bad if that was a cupcake, but it wasn't. They have very good talent on that D. Very good.

Play calling was much better. Burrow checked out of plays without having to look at the sideline. THAT IS HUGE!

Redzone, while certainly not perfect, had improved play calling.

The early issues with timeouts was corrected after the 1st quarter which is another positive.

Oline is the biggest issue, but honestly, a few more caught passes and we can really be something on O as our Oline gets up to speed. Most of it was just a lack of assignment blocking.

Plus, we had a RB rush for over 120 with that Oline. I'd say that is a huge win vs a very good Dline.
  7. I believe the play calling gave way to conservative because we don't wanna show our hand, what little we have to the barn. A little soon to be handing over too much film. Regardless, gotta get much better at just the basics, and they will, but don't expect the playbook to open up next week.

That game at the barn is gonna be a fuggin war.

  8. Thinkin our receivers were large reason so many incompletions in scrimmage. Burrow looks like a good game manager.

  10. And the t.e... One was wide open on the end zone... Miami's d ain't no joke... Joe checking the play at the line when he saw the blitz coming was huge... Nick was untouched on the run... We will beat the war chickens...
