Holy cow, I thought Joe Tiller was a good gameday coach.

Let me see: your team blocks a punt deep in your opponent's territory---and thank goodness, too, because your defense is flat worn out and your kids are cramping up like crazy. There's well over a minute left, your opponent has shredded you for over 300 yds in the air and has two timeouts.

So, again, you drive it down inside the ten to have it first and goal, from about the 6 yard line, with about 1:10 seconds left.

What do you do? Pass on consecutive downs, of course, scoring on the second pass play...but leaving over a minute to play on the clock.

Did I mention that Purdue's defense was exhausted, ASU had passed for over 300 yds at that point, and ASU had two timeouts left?

With over a minute left after the kickoff, ASU flat out flies, and I mean flies, down the field to retake the lead, going 80 yards for the TD in 4 plays.

Elapsed time on that drive? TEN SECONDS

    TEN SECONDS!

Of course, it is completely impossible for this lightning-fast TD drive to occur...if Joe Tiller merely runs the ball once, maybe twice, on that last drive. You know, in order to acutally run some clock, maybe, I don't know, force ASU to use those timeouts.

    Good grief!

I think the drive actually took about 30 seconds - there was about 1:13 left when they got it and 43 seconds left when they scored - but it was pretty fast!
