A quote from Skip's Cyber-Side Chats: "In the future, the Preferred Seating Program that goes into effect for the 2004 season will allow us the financial flexibility to schedule only six home games in some years, which will give us the option to negotiate home-and-home series with some opponents. Those contacts and discussions have already begun." Finally some positive news about OOC games... That's awesome news. I was conviced that LSU was dead set on playing a full 7 game home schedule every year. It's good to know that they will try to be flexible from here on out.
I just thought of something, anyone else notice that Marshall backed out on us this year, but didn't back out of going to Tennessee?
Because they didn't want another butt kicking! After watching them against Miami OH the other night I realized they are not a very good team.
They backed out on us so they could play at home on a Friday night on ESPN....they played Toledo and LOST...I remember watching that game and pulling for Toledo!!!
no they backed out on us to get a home-home seires with K-state. Thats a big deal for their program. I hated it as much as anybody else but it was a smart deal on their part. The toledo game was just moved so the could accomdate k-state and espn.
Wow, K-State agreed to play at Marshall with only one game at K-State? Don't they look like morons. If I'm going to play a home and home with some body, it's going to be someone from a BCS conference with a decent tradition.
we need to get a better schedule and put a hurtin on some big programs. even if it is a Arizona State which I think they added.
