and shockwave plugin crash has about made it unusable. i know im not supposed to have 30 tabs open but its still a dog. Is firefox any better?
I was having problems with shockwave too. Try this: (Shockwave hasn't crashed once since I did this. Hopefully, it works for you too) Type: about://plugins in the browser search bar, enter. The first item on that list says "3 flash versions"... click on the (+) icon on right side of the screen. you will see now three different flash versions, with the option to disable them. DISABLE THE FIRST ONE
I did this awhile back but it still crashes all the time. drives me insane when Im sitting there waiting for the damn thing to die or do something. firefox used to be the same when I stopped using it as often.
